As November begins, please take a moment to read these important announcements from the Financial Aid Office and Student Accounts:

1.       Registration for winter quarter is here. If you have a financial hold on your account you cannot register. Please take care of your holds so that you may register for classes. You may have a hold if:

    1. a. You never submitted your Statement of Financial Responsibility form. Follow that link or you can access it online from your www.my.msoe.edu account.
    2. b. You owe a balance. Now is the time to double check that you have turned in all required paperwork such as verification documents, loan entrance counseling, and promissory notes. If you have all of your paperwork in and still owe a balance, you can look into loan options. The loan options are a Parent PLUS Loan or a Private Alternative Student Loan through a bank or credit union. Additionally, you may consider contacting Student Accounts to set up a payment plan. Please talk to Financial Aid or Student Accounts with questions on how you may pay your balance.

2.       At the end of October, we hosted a presentation on Student Loans, Credit, and Money Management. Please click the link to view this important information if you were not able to attend.

3.       The Financial Aid Office aims to provide you access to scholarships you can apply for. Please see our Available Scholarships Folder and also see our most recent Money Monday blog which highlights national-level scholarships and fellowships for you to apply to. Some pay for full tuition in addition to a monthly stipend!

Last, while not an announcement from Financial Aid or Student Accounts, we would like to remind you that tomorrow (Tuesday, November 4th) is Election Day. For information on what you need to register, how to find your polling place, and more, please see the official information from the State of Wisconsin Government Accountability Board.

Have a happy November, and best of luck with the final weeks of the Fall Quarter!
