Please take the time to read the following important updates from Financial Aid and Student Accounts:
Registration for the Spring is now live! Keep in mind the following points:
If you owe a balance, you will not be able to register. You may check your balance anytime online through your my.msoe.edu account. If you need to make a payment, you can also do that online via CASH Net. Instructions on how to do that, as well as how to grant a parent or other person access, can be found here.
Due to new federal regulations, students are only eligible to receive financial aid for any coursework that is in their academic track. Please see more information about this here, or contact the Financial Aid Office with questions.
In order to receive institutional aid from MSOE, including your MSOE Academic Scholarship, you must be full time. Full time is considered 12 or more credits. If you plan to register for less than 12 credits, please check with Financial Aid to see how your aid will be different for the spring.
FAFSA season is here as well. MSOE’s priority deadline is March 15th. You may file with estimated tax information for you and your parent(s)/guardian(s) and go back and update it later to ensure you have your FAFSA in by March 15th.
In conjunction with RCAS, we will be holding two opportunities for students to complete their FAFSA on campus. These will be on March 10th at 5:00 p.m. and March 13th at noon. Look for more information soon!
1098-T forms are available and they are published online. You may access them via your my.msoe.edu account. Any questions regarding this form should be directed to Student Accounts.
While we are always promoting scholarships, this time of year is especially exciting. We are currently accepting applications for nine different scholarships that are exclusively for current MSOE students and have paid summer internships. Check out the latest Money Monday for more information.
