It’s hard to believe that we are already in the fifth week of the quarter and that October is here. We know this is a busy time of year with classes, projects, and activities, but we appreciate you taking a few minutes to read the following important updates from the Financial Aid and Student Accounts offices:
1. Fall term bills were due on Monday, September 21st. At this time, late fees have been applied for any balance that has not been paid. Please pay your balance as soon as you can. Remember, you cannot register for Winter Quarter classes until your fall balance is paid (or you are on an approved payment plan set up through the Student Accounts Office).
2. The deadline to drop a class is Monday, October 26th at 6:00 p.m. You will need to fill out a form with the Registrar to do so, but please talk to the Financial Aid Office before you drop a class to see how it may impact your aid for the term and the year.
3. Any time of year is a good time to be looking for scholarships. Please continue to follow our Money Monday blog to see what scholarships are available. Many MSOE-specific scholarships have paid internships as well, and these companies may be at the career fair on October 9th. Apply today!
4. If you are waiting for a tuition refund check, most have been made available. Student Accounts will email you when your check is ready to be picked up.
Thank you for reading these important updates and have a great rest of your week!
