    Students must meet the following criteria:

    1. Student must be an U.S. citizen (or an eligible non-citizen, as defined in the Free Application for

    Federal Student Aid (FAFSA);

    2. Student must reside in Milwaukee County;

    3. Student attends a 4-year college in the Milwaukee, Waukesha, Ozaukee, Washington, Racine,

    Kenosha or Walworth County;

    4. Student is a junior or senior, as defined by the number of cumulative credits, as of the Fall 2015

    semester;

    5. Student is of African-American, Asian-American, Hispanic or Native-American ancestry;

    6. Student can demonstrate a commitment to a career in technology and can expound on this during

    a formal interview;

    7. Student has declared a major of natural sciences (such as chemistry, physics, geology, etc.), the

    biological or life sciences (such as botany, zoology, anatomy, genetics, physiology, ecology,

    etc.), the interdisciplinary sciences (such as biochemistry, biophysics, biomathematics,

    biomechanics, etc.), mathematical and information sciences (such as computer science,

    infomatics, etc.), the corresponding engineering fields and applied sciences (such as aeronautics,

    electronics, engineering, software engineering, metallurgy, argonomy, chemical engineering, and

    biomedical engineering);

    8. Student must attach proof of their declared major (i.e., a form filled out by the student and/or an

    advisor declaring a major);

    9. Student must have a 3.00 or higher grade point average and must maintain a 3.00 or higher grade

    point average while receiving the scholarship;

    10. Student must submit a recent copy of his/her official college transcript
