TransCanada Diverse Community Engagement Tour
The consistent question between suppliers and candidates is: “How do I get in?”
The belief, backed by testimony and history, is that if, “I could only get a seat at the table, ‘they’ won’t regret it.”
The energy industry is the new gold rush. The opportunities are constantly identified as plentiful, but there is a lack of qualified individuals to tap into the vastness of the rewards. At TransCanada, we have energy for change. We desire to share knowledge in communities where we build and operate as well as with those who have historically been underrepresented from opportunities in the energy sector. We want to do our part to shore up the energy pipeline with a qualified workforce and suppliers who represent diverse segments of the community.
We are asking you to join us for our Diverse Community Engagement Tour. Our objective is simple; engage and educate diverse communities and millenials about opportunities with TransCanada and let it serve as energy for pursing other opportunities that are available in the oil and gas industry. We anticipate participants will walk away educated, informed and empowered to take tangible steps for workforce and supplier readiness.
