Aaron Cooksey, a nationally-renowned speaker and a former Division III athlete from Mount Union (Ohio) will be speaking on campus on Monday, March 10th from 12:00-1:00pm in the Kern Center Arena. Mr. Cooksey’s topic will be Alcohol Awareness for all students, with an emphasis on those who are college athletes, based on his personal experience with drunk driving. He presents his program nationally and is highly rated. The program is mandatory for all MSOE varsity athletes and attendance is required since the program is during free hours. (If athletes have any conflicts, please notify your head coach.)
THIS FREE PROGRAM IS OPEN TO ALL STUDENTS, STAFF, FACULTY, ALUMNI and Guests.
On July 29, 2001, Aaron Cooksey took the life of his best friend in a drunk driving accident. Now, after serving a four-year prison term and completing his degree, the former college athlete tours the country to tell his story
