The Rader School of Business, through the Uihlein/Spitzer Chair of Entrepreneurship, is providing "seed" funding for engineering senior design projects. Student teams will be awarded up to $500 to help them acquire the equipment, supplies, of services vital to the implementation of their project. During the 2012-2013 academic year, eleven student teams were awarded funds.

To qualify for the funds, students submit a proposal that covers the entrepreneurial focus of the their project including identification of target market(s), detailing of potential financial and human benefits, and articulation of a value proposition. Application guidelines are available from Professor Emeritus David Tietyen at Applications must be received no later than January 31, 2014. The earlier an application is submitted, the more likely it will be funded as the funding is limited to a total of $5,000.
