Our executive members were sent off to Baltimore for the annual SWE conference! While attending, they will learn more about SWE leadership and get to talk to many collegiate and professional members of SWE. The event is the largest of its kind in the world, bringing together students and professionals alike to advance their careers through networking, local tours, events and workshops. We shall be greatly excited to hear about what new information they will bring back to the MSOE SWE chapter! Happy travels ladies.

New SWEFL from MSOE!

Congrats to Amber Koeune for becoming a part of the Region H group of SWEFLs!

SWEFLs are rising sophomore and juniors who are selected by a national SWE panel each spring to help coordinate events for the universities in the area. A member of the SWE chapter must submit nominations for this position. We are very honored to have her represent MSOE!

Congrats to MSOE SWE for winning the Collegiate Section Achievement Award this year!

Be sure to check out the Society of Women Engineers' website & join the group on the HUB!
There are many great opportunities by joining because SWE is a national organization. MSOE's SWE section is part of just one region in the United States. We attend a national and regional conference with career fairs and sessions where you can learn about professionalism and tips on entering the workforce. In addition to this, we offer webinars, leadership coaching, and a chance to become a part of the national executive team in our region. It's a great chance to network with other engineers in the world, both student and alumni!

You do not have to be a woman to join! We have many male members on the national level who get involved. Our main goal is to support women in engineering.

Be sure to look for updates from the group on our activities for this upcoming school year. We're looking forward to a great year!
